My original interest in the 4 volumes from the thread Marty pointed me to was the thought that I could kind of use the volumes almost as blend knobs when any number of the pickups are on in series. I'm figuring then I can have a lot of different options of how many/which pickups are on, which will no doubt actually result in just a few that sound good.
